Landscape photography can sometimes be a waiting game and this image is certainly an example of that. I was waiting with the hope that the clouds covering the peak of High Stile would clear. However I was attracted to the point when the top of the mountain was just showing through but the cloud was still sitting on the summit. I also used Gatesgarthdale Beck as a lead in towards the background scenery.
