The first thing that attracted my to this composition was the bend in the river, the overarching autumnal branches and the fantastic colour of the rocks through the crystal clear water. This was taken about 3/4's of the way round a long walk in Borrowdale so it was a nice boost for carrying the heavy camera gear around with me. My own fault for not succumbing to zoom lenses.
