After scrambling up the steep slopes above the road that leads down to Buttermere, I set up the camera with a rock adding some foreground interest. However the main interest for me was the movement in the sky (hence the long exposure) as well at the magnificent mountains of High Crag, High Stile and Red Pike below. I chose a monochrome conversion to accentuate the details in the mountains helped by the clear late October conditions.
