Lairig Gartain is the valley that runs down one side of the famous Buachille Etive Mor. This image was taken just off the A82 and being near water as you can imagine I was the subject of swarms of midges. So many I'm surprised that the didn’t get into the picture. I was keen to use the stream and the distant river Coupall to lead the eye down the valley.
