Sometimes it may be thrashing down with rain but there's still chance to capture the scene in front of you. This was one of those occasions. Whilst others were seeking shelter I was determined to get out there and photograph the view across Derwent Water which I felt had bags of atmosphere. Whilst it was a 2 second exposure I didn't want to completely smooth out the choppiness of the wind ruffled lake surface. I added a hint of blue in the processing to help give it a feeling of how cold it was out there.
