Walden Beck is the water that runs over the Cauldron Falls in the picturesque village of West Burton in Wensleydale. I used a long exposure on this one (not difficult on a gloomy day) to accentuate the fall of the water as it went over a natural step in the river. The brown shading of the water comes from the peaty ground further upstream and I think adds to the darkish feeling of the image.
