We spent a very wet and windy week in the Lake District in October. We had one good weather day so we headed towards the Buttermere area. The hills across Crummock Water were at their height of rich autumnal colours but went for processing the image as a monochrome conversion. I preferred the strength being in the tones rather than in the colours.
