Our first afternoon of our February trip up to the Highlands ended in some lovely light over a frozen Loch Ba. The colours over the Black Mountains got even more vibrant after this but I preferred the more muted glow of the last of the light against the side of Glas Bheinn in the distance. It's day like this that bring fantastic rewards for the patient photographer that make me so grateful for witnessing such beautiful countryside.
