A superb end to a fabulous day in Whitby. We’d had a typical Whitby fish and chip supper to help wait in case something special happened at sunset and indeed it did. After the Sun went down behind the hills the colours just got better and better. I set up along the side of the West Pier and used the brick face to help give some foreground interest. The sandstone was even reflected some of the colours to add to the scene.
