Our campsite in North Wales was flooded out so we changed plans and went to the Lake District instead. The trip started with snow and the second morning saw rain. We went walking anyway and as it started to dry we ventured onto a felling area on the sides of Helvellyn which has super views down St. John's in the Vale. The sun even made an appearance on Blencathra which added to the vista.
